A sea of green greeted morning commuters Monday after a cabbage truck rolled over and spilled its load across a busy downtown Rochester highway.

Traffic was backed up in both directions of Route 490 after a truck tipped over near the Alexander Street overpass and sent thousands of heads of cabbage rolling down the road around 6:30 a.m.

The produce spilled across the median to cover the divided highway in both directions. The trucker was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
