Soldier Injured in Terror Attack at Checkpoint Near Yerushalayim
An Israeli soldier was wounded by a homemade bomb thrown near the Patriarch’s Way security checkpoint near Yerushalayim on Wednesday night.
The soldier, who was described as moderately wounded, was treated at the scene and then evacuated to Hadassah Medical Center.
The terrorist fled the scene, and police were searching the area.
A few hours earlier, a 22-month-old and her father were lightly wounded after by rock throwers targeting two vehicles on Route 45 near the capital.
The father was lightly injured in the shoulder and did not require medical treatment. The toddler received cuts to the face by glass fragments. Her father took her to Shaare Zedek Medical Center, where she was treated and released.
