Mayor Bill de Blasio said Thursday that he supports the deal the West reached with Iran, but promised a continued open door to pro-Israel groups who disagree.
De Blasio told reporters that he and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee will agree to disagree on Iran, but he will continue speaking out for Israel on the national stage.
“I absolutely have an open door. I didn’t say we would agree on everything,” de Blasio said, according to Capital New York. “I agree with AIPAC’s strong defense of the state of Israel … but on this issue, I think we do have some disagreements.”
