Chunk of 14th Ave., Other Streets, Closed This Week for Paving

BROOKLYN

Large chunks of Boro Park will be closed for much of this week as the city takes advantage of lower summertime traffic to repave roads hammered by an epic winter.

Fourteenth Ave., between 44th and 61st streets, will be targeted by the New York City Department of Design and Construction, according to a flyer posted on Friday along the main Boro Park boulevard. In addition, 52nd Street, between New Utrecht Ave. and Dahill Rd., will be milled.

The city will not allow any cars on those roads from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. through Friday.
