A man escaped without a scratch after being run over by a freight train while sleeping Wednesday night in the middle of railroad tracks.

Aaron Collins, 38, was highly intoxicated when he went to sleep on the tracks near Albany. A Pan Am freight train more than a mile long approached around 10:30 p.m. The conductor spotted Collins and stopped the train, but not before the first two engines passed over him.

The engine were moved to free Collins, who was unhurt but still drunk.
