Janitor Who Stabbed Man in Kiryas Joel Shul Arrested
A 56-year-old man employed as a janitor at a shul in Kiryas Joel was arrested on Wednesday and charged with stabbing another employee inside the shul.
The 35-year-old Jewish man with stabbed in the upper leg with a small screwdriver wielded by Jae Kyung Lee of Monroe, who worked in the Chareidim shul on VanBuren Road. The victim was treated by Hatzolah at the scene for a small puncture wound, according to Hudson Valley News, citing a state police official.
Lee was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
