$250M Donations for NYC Hospitals

Industrialist David Koch and financier Henry R. Kravis have made separate donations totaling $250 million for hospitals and medical research in New York City.

Koch gave $150 million to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to help build a $1.3 billion, 23-story outpatient cancer center in Manhattan. Kravis is giving $100 million to Rockefeller University to build a research facility that will span three city blocks.
