Pipe Bomb Found at Kever Rochel
Rabbanim and avreichim of the Kollel Kever Rochel Imeinu in Beis Lechem arrived on Thursday morning for their daily seder and found a pipe bomb, which apparently had been tossed into the compound overnight or early in the morning.
IDF personnel arrived to safely detonate the explosive device, and no one was hurt.
On Thursday afternoon, IDF forces stationed at Kever Rachel shot and lightly wounded a Palestinian terrorist who was throwing rocks at them.
Rav Tzvi Uziahu of the Kollel said: “We held a special tefillah at the Kever to give thanks for the miracle that occurred this morning. There is no doubt that had the bomb exploded it could have caused grave harm.
“The regular schedule of studies and activities continued as usual. We appreciate the work of the security forces whose presence here enables the kollel to continue operating despite the tense security situation.
