Greenfield Offers Mortgage Legal Advice
Councilman David Greenfield has partnered with Brooklyn Housing and Family Services to provide one-on-one mortgage counseling to residents of his district, his office announced Tuesday.
An attorney will be available to meet with homeowners who are in danger of losing their homes or have encountered changes in their financial circumstances, on the last Tuesday of each month. Call Greenfield’s office at (718) 853-2704 for an appointment.
“Owning a home is as rewarding as it is stressful,” Greenfield said. “Many people fall behind on their mortgage payments which could result in unnecessary foreclosures and losses of their homes.”
