Ben Gurion Braces For Stormy Weather

YERUSHALAYIM (Hamodia Staff) —

As winter made a comeback on Monday night after a week of mild weather, the Israel Airports Authority (IAA) warned of possible delays in take-offs and landings at Ben Gurion.

Citing forecasts for strong winds and rain, the IAA notified the public to take the weather into account when planning their arrival to the airport.

Passengers are asked to arrive three hours before their scheduled departure, and should check updated flight schedules on the IAA website, the authority said.

On Monday night, airport personnel were clearing away and securing objects that could possibly come loose in the wind, the IAA added.
