B’chasdei Shamayim, the gunfire assault caused no injury and only minor damage.

Police said Wednesday a proclamation by the “Group of Popular Fighters” over the attack early on Dec. 12 was found in an Athens garbage can, following a phone call to a newspaper.

Authorities had already linked the group to the Israeli embassy hit, in which more than 50 bullets from assault rifles were fired at the building’s facade before it opened for business.
