Cuomo Plans Trip to Cuba to Promote the State

NEW YORK (AP) -

Just a month after the U.S. government eased travel restrictions on Cuba, Gov. Andrew Cuomo is planning a trip to the island nation to promote New York.

The governor plans to lead a trade mission to the Communist nation as part of a “Global NY” initiative. Cuomo has previously announced that he plans trips to Israel, China, Mexico and elsewhere during his second term.
