Brizzi Park Celebrates End of Renovations

A ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday celebrated the recently completed renovations at Brizzi Playground, located at 10th Avenue and 43rd Street.

Councilmen Brad Lander and Carlos Menchaca put forward the funding for the removal of an old bocce court, converting that space into a turf-play area for youth, as well as the addition of a new piece of play equipment and safety matting. The Parks Department also added new landscaping and planted areas to more clearly define play areas for older and younger children.

The park is near several schools, including Bais Brocho.
