Former Gov. Cuomo Home From Hospital
Gov. Andrew Cuomo said on Thursday his father, the 82-year-old former governor, has been home from the hospital for a week, and the two have been spending a lot of time together.
Cuomo told reporters he chatted with his father on Thursday morning, saw him Wednesday night, and that ex-Gov. Mario Cuomo’s illness is one reason he hasn’t gone on tour promoting his recently published book.
Cuomo Sr. is “very strong and the doctors are pleased with the progress that he’s making,” the current governor said. The elder Cuomo was hospitalized last month for a heart condition.
