NY Gets $48M to Protect Bridges From Erosion
New York is receiving $47.8 million from the federal government to “harden” 20 of its bridges against erosion, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced on Friday. He said the funds will help make the state’s bridges more resilient in the face of severe weather.
