An Ithaca auto dealer is trying to find out what damaged the paint on about 700 vehicles, the Ithaca Journal reported. Phil Maguire said repairs will cost from $300 to $5,000 per vehicle. An expert said air pollution from Canada’s forest fires may be the source.
