Hiker Survives 40-Foot Fall From Waterfalls

NAPLES, N.Y.

A man hiking Wednesday near Rochester survived a 40-foot fall down a waterfall, The Associated Press reported. Philip Defranco lost his footing at the top of a waterfall and fell, landing on a ledge. He then fell into the water and was drifting downstream before his friends pulled him out. He is in guarded condition.
