Large Snake on Loose in South Jersey

LOWER TOWNSHIP, N.J.

A large snake is on the loose in southern New Jersey after escaping from its owner and authorities are warning residents to be on the lookout, The Press of Atlantic City reported. The 6-foot red-tailed boa, nocturnal and a shy serpents by nature, was photographed in a tree eating a seagull in Lower Township. The owner was cleaning the snake’s aquarium when it got loose.
