NYC to Pay $1M to Settle Medicaid Probe
New York City agreed to repay $1.05 million to the federal government for failing to stop Medicaid payments when beneficiaries became ineligible, The Associated Press reported. Insurers notified HRA when beneficiaries may have moved away, but a whistleblower says they failed to stop the monthly payments.
