Kidnapping Mastermind Under Arrest
The man who led the kidnapping and murder of three Israeli teens — Eyal Yifrach, Gilad Shaar, and Naftali Frankel, Hy”d — has been captured and is being held by Israeli security forces.
The arrest of Chevron resident Hussam Kawasmeh was made three weeks ago, but not cleared for publication until Tuesday night. Two other suspects, Marwan Kawasmeh and Amar Abu-Eisha, were reported still at large.
Kawasmeh attempted to flee to Jordan with fake identification documents after the bodies of the teens were found.
Under interrogation, Kawasmeh admitted to his role in the operation. He said that he got money to finance it from Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
