Two dogs left in a car in Orange County on an 86-degree day died and police are investigating, the Times Herald-Record reported. Sandi Maddock left her dogs with a pet sitter while she went to work on July 21. The sitter, out on a shopping trip, got distracted and forgot the animals were still in the vehicle.
