NYPD Investigating Another Apparent Chokehold

NEW YORK -

The NYPD is probing a video of another officer using a chokehold during an arrest, The Associated Press reported. The July 14 incident happened at a subway station in East Harlem when Ronald Johns, 22, resisted arrest on a fare-evading charge after walking through an emergency gate without paying. It happened three days before Eric Garner died in police custody from a police chokehold.
