40 Preparers Suspended For Not Filing Personal Tax

New York state on Wednesday suspended the licenses of 40 tax preparers who never filed their own returns in 2011 and 2012, with more than half from New York City, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said. More than 7 million New York residents use tax preparers and this year New York became one of four states that regulates the industry.
