Mayor: Times Square Characters Should Be Licensed

Mayor Bill de Blasio said Monday that people wearing character costumes in Times Square should be licensed and regulated since they have “gone too far,” The Associated Press reported. One character was arrested Saturday for punching a police officer who told him to stop harassing tourists.
