Officer Gets Desk Duty For Alleged Stomp

An NYPD officer was put on desk duty after a video emerged Saturday of him stomping a drug suspect during an arrest Wednesday in Brooklyn, The Associated Press reported. Joel Edouard surrendered his badge and gun during the probe. A police union said that videos “never present all the facts in a situation.”
