43 Years in Office, Mayor Is Running Again
One of the longest-serving mayors in New York state’s history is planning to run for a 12th term, The Post-Star of Glens Falls reported. Robert Blais of Lake George has led the popular tourist destination since 1971. At 43 years, he’s the state’s second-longest-serving mayor, after Clarence Michalis of Lattingtown, who has been mayor for 45 years.
