Communities and businesses that are suffering serious financial losses due to the fighting in the south have been promised swift compensation and tax easements by the Finance Ministry, Globes reported on Tuesday.

In addition, he pledged that compensation for losses incurred during Operation Protective Edge would be made even before its conclusion. In past conflicts, the government was criticized for slowness in providing compensation and its reluctance to acknowledge legitimate claims.
