Repaving Of Palisades to Begin Monday

FORT LEE, N.J. (AP) —

Repaving is set to begin on the Palisades, which links New York state to the George Washington Bridge, the first major repair work since the mid-1990s.

Milling and paving for the $1 million project will start Monday night in the northbound lanes and continue along an 11-mile stretch toward the state border. The contractor will be allowed to close one travel lane during off-peak hours.
