Rockland’s Sandy-Damaged Homes Face Demolition

STONY POINT, N.Y.

Nine homes in the Rockland town of Stony Point damaged by Superstorm Sandy will be demolished, The Journal News reported. About 120 homes were flooded but most were restored or demolished. But these nine pose a danger of collapsing. Either FEMA or insurance will pay their costs.
