Arab MKs Ejected From Knesset for Incitement
Two Arab MKs were physically removed from the Knesset plenum on Wednesday after calling IDF soldiers war criminals and murderers, The Jerusalem Post reported.
MK Ahmed Tibi (UAL-Ta’al) said “the IDF is committing war crimes in Gaza including blowing up houses and killing entire families intentionally, including innocent children and women.”
Later, in the Knesset’s plenum, MK Ibrahim Sarsour (UAL-Ta’al) read from a list of names of Palestinians who were killed in Gaza since Operation Protective Edge began, claiming they were “murdered by IDF soldiers.”
Knesset ushers had to forcibly eject Sarsour from the podium when he resisted instructions to leave.
MK Masoud Gnaim (UAL-Ta’al) was also kicked out when he called the IDF “an army of murderers.”
MK Elazar Stern (Movement), who spoke after Gnaim, said that “calling IDF soldiers murderers is incitement.”
