Illegal Drone Came Within 800 Feet Of NYPD Chopper

Police have arrested two people for operating a drone over the George Washington Bridge that came within 800 feet of a police helicopter, The Associated Press reported. The pilot spotted the aircraft early Monday circling the bridge, forcing him to change course to avoid it. He notified police after seeing the drone land on a parked vehicle. Wilkins Mendoza and Remy Castro were arrested.
