First Lady to Speak at Hispanic Convention in New York City

WASHINGTON -

First lady Michelle Obama will promote her initiative to encourage young people to pursue higher education during a speech Thursday at the national convention in New York City of a leading Hispanic civil rights group, the White House announced. She’ll also attend a Democratic fundraiser.
