Judge Sues NYC Over Caught-By-Camera Ticket
A motorist is suing New York City over a traffic-camera ticket he says was unjust. As it happens, he’s a judge, The Associated Press reported. Manhattan state Supreme Court Justice Geoffrey Wright sued Wednesday in his own court after he got a notice saying a camera caught his car being driven in a bus lane last October. He says it wasn’t and has photographs to back him up. It’s unclear which colleague of Wright’s will be assigned to the case.
