Acquitted ex- Senate Chief Requests $2.4M
The ex-leader of New York’s Senate asked the state to reimburse $2.4 million for legal costs in his acquittal on federal fraud charges, WGDJ reported. Joe Bruno, a Republican, says he expects Attorney General Eric Schneiderman to approve it since those were “reasonable legal expenses incurred while I was a public officer when I was charged.”
