Lawmakers Push for NYC Monitor for Sandy Recovery
Two New York City councilmen introduced a bill to create a monitor over the Superstorm Sandy recovery process. The legislation, sponsored by Eric Ulrich, a Queens Republican, and Mark Treyger, a Coney Island Democrat, requires the commissioner of operations to investigate waste and fraud.
