20 Inmates, 2 Guards Arrested After Jail Raid

Two correction officers and about 20 inmates were arrested following a search Monday in the Rikers Island jail for drugs, contraband and weapons as part of a larger probe into rising levels of violence and other criminality. Investigators searched inmate cells, common areas and locker rooms, and about 100 correction officers.
