President Barack Obama won’t endorse in the Democratic primary for New York’s 13th district, although he believes Rep. Charlie Rangel advocates for Democrat principals, a party spokesman said Monday. Obama didn’t endorse state Sen. Adriano Espaillat, even though he called on Rangel to step aside following a 2010 House censure for tax fraud.
