NJ Unemployment Rate Now Lowest in 5 Years
New Jersey’s unemployment rate inched down a tenth of a percent to 6.8 percent in May, its lowest level in more than five years, the state Labor Department said in a report released Thursday. Public sector jobs were unchanged, but private sector job growth was larger in April than first reported.
