Albany Reaches Deal to Delay Common Core
New York lawmakers are working toward adjournment of its six-month session late Thursday with votes providing a safety net for teachers worried about being judged for student performance on the new Common Core standards, The Associated Press reported. Other high-profile bills appear dead, including the minimum wage, campaign finance and the DREAM Act.
