Flu Season Over in NY, Says Commissioner
As the summer approaches, the flu is no longer a prevalent issue in New York, Acting Health Commissioner Howard Zucker said. This year’s flu season was above what’s normally seen, coming in two waves, first in December with influenza A — also known as H1N1 — and the second, influenza B in early March through May.
