De Blasio Wants Obama’s Library in New York City

NEW YORK -

Mayor Bill de Blasio is supporting efforts to make New York City the home of President Obama’s future library, The Associated Press reported. Many observers believe the favorite to be Chicago, the president’s hometown, but New York may have received a lift thanks to a recent Politico report that Obama is considering moving to New York after his term ends in 2016. Obama received his undergraduate degree at Columbia University, which is making a bid for the library.
