List of NY WWII Dead Available Online

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -

The names of more than 37,000 New Yorkers who died while serving in the military during World War II are now searchable online thanks to nine volunteers who spent the past year going through the U.S. Army and Navy casualty books. A typical entry at www.dmna.ny.gov includes name, service number, branch of service, how they died and where they are buried.
