School Official Quits After Media Bust

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.

The lead attendance officer for the Atlantic City school district on Wednesday quit the $72,000 job he had held for 20 years after a news crew filmed him doing anything but his job. Nicholas Russo got his car washed and spent time at a liquor store he owns on days he called in sick but filled out his time cards to show he was looking for truants.
