Budget Hole Forces N.J. to Postpone Tax Credits

TRENTON, N.J. -

Saying you’ve got to manage your cash carefully when you’re running out of money, Gov. Chris Christie said that property tax credits are on hold for this year while he works to balance a $2 billion budget deficit, The Associated Press reported. The Homestead Rebate available to senior citizens, the disabled and homeowners with incomes under $75,000 would be applied in May 2015 instead of June 2014.
