For the first time in 50 years, six state legislative seats have opened across Brooklyn, through retirements, term limits and convictions, the Daily News reported. “No one can remember when this happened previously,” political consultant George Arzt said. Assemblywomen Rhoda Jacobs and Joan Millman said this week they will not seek reelection.
