New Report Ranks N.Y. Last In Economic Outlook

ALBANY

New York State came in 50 of 50 in the 2014 edition of “Rich States, Poor States” by a panel of countrywide state legislators. The American Legislative Exchange Council said that Utah has the best economic outlook based on 15 factors, including tax burden, public employees per 10,000 population and minimum wage. New York has finished among the last two places since 2008.
