Last Catskills Resort to Be Demolished This Month

Kutsher’s, the fabled Catskills resort hotel and until last year the last of its kind still in business, will be demolished later this month by its new owner, Veria Lifestyle Inc., which plans to turn it into a health resort, the Times Herald-Record reported. The property near Monticello was built in 1907 as the youngest of the Borscht Belt hotels in the Catskills.
