N.Y. Unemployment Rate Back to 2008 Level

ALBANY
The unemployment rate in New York is at its lowest level since December 2008, shortly after the Great Recession began, numbers released on Thursday show. The rate in April fell by 0.2 percent to 6.7 percent, while New York City joblessness fell 0.1 percent.
