Violent Offender Registry Bill Passes NY Senate
A bill that would create a statewide registry of violent felony offenders has passed the Senate, the Associated Press reported. “Brittany’s Law” would require certain felons to register after being released from prison and have their names added to a statewide violent felony offender registry. The bill has been sent to the Assembly.
