Son Being Honored for Saving Dad’s Life With CPR
A Syracuse student and a cardiologist were honored Thursday for saving the life of the student’s father after a heart attack, the Post-Standard of Syracuse reported. Dale Hornstein was on the phone with Dr. Bill Berkery when he collapsed on Dec. 4. His son David, 21, got on the phone with Berkery, who instructed him how to perform CPR. After a surgery, Hornstein recovered.
